Mack Lum, age 75, of Annona, passed away, Thursday, November 16, 2017, at his residence. Mack was born, May 31, 1942, in Boxelder to “Doc” and Ethel Rhea Lum. He was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He loved his church and church family. Mack was devoted to helping others and owned Open Road Mobiltiy in Lubbock and Amarillo. One of Mack’s favorite past times was hunting and fishing.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Woodard and Rev. Mike Redus officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are John C. Upchurch, Austin Arnold, Donnie Poage, Corley Floyd, Charles Monroe and Keith Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Hendrix, George Harvey, Bennie Venable, Glen Floyd, Charles McKinney and Gerald Judd.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Cheyne Lum of Annona; 2 sons, Stanley Beam and wife, Dee of Lubbock and Dusty Read and wife, Sonya of New Braunfels; 3 daughters, Vicki Arnold and husband, Michael of Dallas, Staci Webb and husband, Michael of Forney and Joni McDonough of Garland; 1 sister, Nora Ann Upchurch and husband, Charles of Boxelder; brothers, Harold Lum and wife, Norma of Wichita Falls and Earl Lum and wife, Diana of Marlow, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Eric Beam, Tarah Read, Austin Arnold, Donnie Poage and Jewelia Webb.
